Lead designer and developer for marketing-oriented mobile web-AR treasure hunt game utilizing multiple AR markers, photogrammetry-scanned models and dynamic soundtrack via 8th Wall and A-Frame, 2020

The challenge was to produce a marketing in-person experience for an app launch party at a major clothing retailer flagship location. The experience had to be engaging and easily accessible to customers, and representative of the brand's aesthetics and values.

As a part of a small team at neoneon I rose to the challenge by conceptualizing an augmented reality treasure hunt game, that was utilizing the then-brand-new 8th Wall Web AR platform to achieve ease of access (no app download required), and compatibility with a wide range of smart devices. I handled processing 3D assets and animation in Blender, including getting scanned by LensCloud photogrammetry array, as well as wrote A-Frame code for 3D model behavior, JavaScript for scorekeeping, and used Howler.js library for dynamic soundtrack. I also designed prototypes of collectable physical markers for triggering the AR experience.
